   Tips Membangun Bisnis Bagi Milenial

Malik Khidir, as a Founder of Setchoq, a company engaged in robotics, conveyed strategies to run a business to proceed with the development amidst the tight business competition today. According to him, the tactical key to a business is innovation, especially in digital business.

"A main key to start business in the digital world is innovation," he explained in the webinar on the National Youth Building National Talk held by Mardliyah Muda and UGM on Saturday (26/9).

He also said that the importance of business innovation nowadays is to make the business itself exist and develop. Even so, innovating is a very challenging thing, especially developing innovations that the market can accept and need.

"If you run a business and advance to innovate, people will look for it, and when you have got value, the business will grow on its own. Meanwhile, those who have no progress because they do not want to innovate will die," said the alumnus of FMIPA UGM.

On that occasion, Malik also invited the young generation of Indonesia to struggle and innovate to provide benefits to society, nation, and state.

The webinar also presented other speakers of UGM alumni as well as young businessmen. Some of them are the Co-Founder of Restoku.id, Ageng Sajiwo, and CEO of Analisa Personality Development Center, Analisa Widyaningrum.

Agung Sajiwo said that it is not difficult to find creative and innovative business ideas. People can accomplish innovative ideas by honing sensitivity to the environment. Be observant about reading situations and capturing various problems that live in society, because business emerges as a solution to problems.

"Constantly looking for problems that exist in the vicinity because innovation starts with problems," he said.

Ageng suggested the younger generation not to be hesitant to start a business. If you end up failing when running your first business, he asked millennials not to give up. He asked them to get up better and start over because failure can become a part of the learning process in shaping mental and knowledge in achieving success.

While Widyaningrum's analysis shares tips for millennials, who are starting or already running a business, one of them is knowing your passion for your business.

"What we need is not only a passion but also hard work and effort. Without those aspects, we cannot run the business," Widyaningrum said.

She said that besides knowing our passion, it is also necessary for us to understand the values and goals of arranging business. Besides, she is also consistent in her struggles and does not easily give up when she fails.

"We must certainly have the power to reflect against failure. If now you fail, please, do not hesitate to get up and try again because we will never grab the success in our hand if we don't learn from the failures," Widyaningrum explained.
