A student of the department of State Administration, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, UGM, Andika Listiono Putra, has been temporarily declared missing after following a climbing expedition in Mount Semeru , East Java .
The head of PR and protocol of UGM, Drs. Suryo Baskoro, M.S., told journalists on Wednesday (29/7) afternoon on UGM campus that Andikaâ€™s participation in the climb was for one of the Mapala Sentrayana Fisipol activities.Â â€œRight now we are in coordination with Fisipol and Sentrayana to try to find clear information about Andika,â€ he said.Â Suryo also added, his side is also in coordination with the SAR team who are currently searching for Andika in Mount Semeru .
As the Lumajang District SAR team reported, six climbers are already safe.Â However, Andika has lost contact with the group.Â It is later known that a storm had hit the group on their way down from the peak of the mountain.Â The report of a missing person was received in the Ranupane post, Tuesday, at 17.00.
Andika Listiono Putra is a second year student, class of 2008, in the department of State Administration.Â He is a graduate of SMU N 1 Puri, Mojokerto, East Java .
