The Rector of UGM and CEO of Primatama Karyapersada have agreed to cooperate in providing service for the society and the nation on Tuesday (2/6). Along with the signing of letter of agreement, Primatama Karyapersada Ltd also gives chicken teaching farms for UGM. Those teaching farms include 2 large pens with the capacity of 9000 chickens. The first one is a closed house which has the capacity of 5500 chickens and an open house which has the capacity of 3500 chickens. In addition, the company also gives other facilities such as office building, staple storehouse, husk storehouse, and a set of generator equipped with cooling pad, automated drinking machine, etc.
The assistance worth IDR 320,347,594 was the realization of the agreement between the company and Animal Science Faculty of UGM seven years ago. Through the support, Primatama Ltd showed their concern on the learning process and the creation of qualified human resources in the animal science field. Yahya Djanggola from Primatama conveyed their company hopes that the teaching farm can be the location for research and development of animal science.
The Rector of UGM Prof Sudjarwadi said that the infrastructure assistance will help UGM to improve the quality of its students, especially the animal science faculty students.
