Rector Inaugurated the Head of Administrative Affairs of APU Office

Alongside the Meeting of University Leadership, UGM Rector, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M.Eng., Ph.D., inaugurated Ir. Moch. Santosa, M.S. as the Head of Administrative Affairs of APU (Alumni and Business Development) Office. The inauguration was at The Meeting Room of UGM, Monday (24/8), witnessed by the Senior Vice – Rector of Administration, Finance and Human Resources, Prof. Ainun Na’im, Ph.D., and Vice Rector of Alumni and Business Development;  Prof. Ir. Atyanto Dharoko, M.Phil., together with others leaders.

 

Based on Rector UGM Decision Number 329/P/SK/HT/2009, the Head of Administrative Affairs of APU Office is a new position under the office of Vice- Rector of Alumni and Business Development. The inaugurated official will be responsible to arrange the manual and technical procedures in Alumni and Business Development Sections, alumni data and recruitment process.

 

The Head of Administrative APU Office also has the duty of holding alumni meeting periodically during University anniversary, coordinating the management and maintenance of alumni website and providing alumni data to the Leadership. In detail, he also makes database, management, and maintaining relationship with the alumni.

 

The Rector said in his opening speech that through the alumni in Local, National and International levels, the new Head at the APU Office was hoped to give explanations about UGM Policy because UGM is considering on the image of the university which has last a very long time. “Some alumni have made contribution. Their role in the future will be enforced as UGM important stakeholders. By having big ideal, I hope the cooperation with the alumni is implemented.”
