The Economics and Business Faculty (FEB) UGM have opened the “honesty cafeteria†at the front space of FEB UGM. The cafeteria operates without the seller and provides snacks, drinks, writing tools, newspaper and magazines.
The cafeteria that was opened since 11 November was a grant from one of the student’s parent who participated in the FOKOMA (Student’ Parent Communication Forum) FEB UGM. The cafeteria provides a place to put the payment and people can take the change themselves.
A public relations staff of FEB UGM Hestining Kurniastuti on Thursday (20/11) in UGM campus said that the honesty cafeteria was opened to encourage the honest culture in FEB UGM.
According to Kurniastuti, the management of the cafeteria was given to BEM FEB UGM. Since the beginning of the cafeteria opening, students are all enthusiastic in buying available items at the cafeteria. The cafeteria can also be used by FEB UGM’s staffs.
