Civil servants in academic environment, said Ainun, has bigger challenges than those in other institutions, because there are more demands from society. â€œUniversity is considered as a model and agent of development. We should put those expectations into reality,â€ he suggested.
Ainun also confirmed that UGM is conducting many important programs related to bureaucracy reform implementation. One of them is giving best service for community through role and duty by teaching and academic staff. â€œWe receive budget allocation amounting to Rp1.5 trillion every year. This is bigger than that in several regional governments inÂ Yogyakarta Special Province. Therefore, it should be utilized as best as possible,â€ he added.
