Directorate of Planning and Development of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held Training of Performance-based Management of Information System (Simabeka) on Thursday (25/3). This training was held at UGM Multimedia Room and was followed by 50 employees from all UGM’s units.
Â
This training is aimed to apply Simabeka in terms of monitoring. Simabeka has been introduced since 2008. This system was used to arrange the work planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting. Work and budget planning has run effectively in the past two years.
Â
Drs. Samino, M.M., Head of Sub-directorate of Planning, said that this training is one of the ways to support University’s data management. With web-based monitoring, the achievement of each unit or faculty can be clearly visible whether it has met the goal and met the contract with the university. “The result can be used as evaluation for every working unit/faculty and as a basis for the leadership to make decision. Our expectation is that web-based monitoring through Simabeka application can be effectively run by next year,†he said.
