UGM Rector, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M. Eng., Ph.D., inaugurated four new officials at UGM. The inauguration took place in the Leaders Room of UGM Central Building on Monday (1/11). The four new officers that were sworn in are; Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M. Eng., Ph.D., as Head of the Center for Japanese Studies, Dr. Nurul Khakhim, M.Si., as Head of Center for Marine Resource Technology Studies, Ir. Bambang Suhartanto, D.E.A, as the Secretary of Agricultural Training, Research and Development Station (KP4), and Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, D.A.A, D.E.A, as Head of Agricultural Training, Research and Development Station (KP4).
In his speech, the Rector appealed to the new officials to utilize the knowledge and intelligence to build each unit maximally. "I hope the officials would perform well as they are entrusted to do that. Use the intelligence to develop UGM by means of your respective work units,"the Rector said. Meanwhile, to their predecessors, the Rector thanked for their contributions for the university.
On the occasion, also present were Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs and Business Development, Prof. Ir. Atyanto Dharoko., M. Phil., Ph.D., Executive Secretary, Drs. Djoko Moerdiyanto, MA, along with a number of UGM officials.
