Fitri mentioned that this activity aims to revive the spirit and make them creative. Up to now, entertainment is always presented to them, but this time they entertain others. "In this way, they will have activities that are useful to express themselves. This activity is expected to give positive energy to about 3,000 people at the Maguwoharjo Stadium and other locations," she explained.

In Spirit of Life art performance, the IDPs will present some performance arts, such as kethoprak (Javanese play), karawitan (Javanese musical concert), poetry reading, and singing. This serves as a form of gratitude from the IDPs at the Maguwoharjo Stadium to all volunteers, the people of Indonesia, also the world community, who have provided assistance during their evacuation.

In order to revive the spirit and creativity of Internally Displaced Persons fleeing from erupting Mt. Merapi, UGM DERU (Disaster Response Unit) in cooperation with Disaster Response of Artists (Sentana) will hold an art performance entitled Spirit of Life. The event will be held on Friday (19/11) in the north stage of Maguwoharjo Stadium starting at 19:00 hours.
