UGM Cooperates with North Penajam Paser Regency

UGM has cooperated with North Penajam Paser Regency Government, East Kalimantan. The cooperation is implemented with the signing of cooperation agreements by both parties. The signing of the cooperation was undertaken by the Rector of UGM Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M. Eng., Ph.D., and the Regent of the North Penajam Paser, H. Andi Harahap, S. Sos., Friday (11/2) at the Main Office of UGM.

UGM and North Penajam Paser agreed to cooperate in the fields of health, economic, social, and cultural. In addition, cooperation was also agreed in the field of education, training, and research in North Penajam Paser. The cooperation will be carried out in a period of three years from the signing of the memorandum of understanding.

The UGM Rector welcomed the cooperation and hoped it can provide benefits to the development and improvement of the quality of resources of both sides.

Meanwhile, RegentĀ  H. Andi, Harahap, S. Sos., expressed his pride to be able to cooperate with UGM. He said that North Penajam Paser is a new district, the result of the regional divisions of the East Kalimantan. With this cooperation, Andi hoped to get much knowledge for the sake of the development of the regency.
