Universitas Gadjah Mada and PT Hexindo Adiperkasa, Tbk., established cooperation in education, research and community service. The cooperation is written in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by UGM Rector, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi., M. Eng., Ph.D., and President Director of PT Hexindo Adiperkasa, Kardinal A. Karim, and Director of PT Hexindo Adiperkasa, Hideo Satake, in the UGM Meeting Room on Thursday (7/7). The collaboration is intended to improve the capabilities in the areas of education, research, and development as well as optimal human resources development to support technology development and heavy equipment industry in Indonesia.
Kardinal A. Karim expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to establish the partnership cooperation program. Kardinal said that this cooperation is really important as a form of corporate concern for education of the nation’s generation.
Cardinal added the cooperation with the UGM is a form of Corporate Social Responsibility function in providing a better future to the nation’s prospective successors. "This is an effort to provide employment and develop human resource potential of Indonesia," he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M. Eng., Ph.D., in the occasion expressed his hope that the cooperation can develop in accordance with their aspirations. "This cooperation is important as UGM’s contribution to the nation and state. In the future, hopefully it could be expanded into a more comprehensive level," said Rector.
