Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M. Eng., Ph.D., inaugurated Dra. Nur Aini Yuniyarti, M.Si., as Deputy Director of UGM Vocational School. The inauguration took place in Leadership Courtroom, UGM Main Office on Monday (12/9) and was marked by the signing of the appointment certificate by the new officer.
The Rector in his speech advised the new officer to always uphold the official oath in running his duty. In addition, he suggested to make Vocational School Strategic Plan and Annual Work Plan Budget as guidelines. The Rector also hopes the newly appointed officer to keep communication in order to work optimally. "We cannot work alone, but as a team. Therefore, communication becomes important in order to work optimally," he said.
Vocational School is a new school formed by UGM in the late 2008, which was previously Diploma Program. "As a new school with many Departments, certainly there are still a number of complex issues that cannot be addressed individually. Therefore, it takes cooperation in managing Vocational School," the Rector said.
The inauguration was attended by Senior Vice Rector for Academic, Research, and Community Service, Senior Vice Rector for Administration, Planning, Development and Human Resources, as well as the ranks of other leaders in UGM.
