YOGYAKARTA-UGM Rector, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M. Eng., Ph.D., inaugurated two new officials at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Taking place at Leadership Courtroom, the two new officials sworn in were Dra. Rini Rio Diah Moehkardi, M.A., as Head of Office of International Affairs and Wijayanti, S.I.P, M.Sc., as Head of Public Relations. Rio Rini replaced the former official, Dr. Eng. R. Rachmat A. Sriwijaya, S.T., M.T. and Wijayanti replaced Drs. Bernardinus Realino Suryo Baskoro, M.S.
In his remarks after the inauguration and swearing-in of two new officials, the Rector did not forget to thank the former officials for their performance and dedication. Meanwhile for the new officials, the Rector expected them to improve their performance for UGM, community, or nation, without prioritizing personal interests. "I also wish to thank you for the performance of former officials while the new officials are expected to further improve their performance in carrying out their tasks," the Rector said on Monday (16/1).
The Rector asked the new officials to coordinate and synergize with other sections immediately, no need to create spectacular things because there are many small things but meaningful and rewarding that can be developed for UGM. One of the tasks awaiting the new officials is calling for UGM academic community to keep cleanliness and tidiness of the Central Office Hall. This is important because the Hall is the ‘face’ of UGM, which is currently visited by many people and visitors, both from within and outside the country. "In addition, many students and visitors take pictures at this UGM Hall. Making use of a bilingual public announcement, we remind you that UGM academic community always maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the Hall. We also want to maintain UGM as Center of Excellence in the world," the Rector said.
