Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Publishers and Publications Board or commonly known as Badan Penerbit dan Publikasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (BPP UGM) is a supporting unit for publishing as University’s Tridharma (Education, Research, and Community Service). Established since February 2015, the objective is to encourage and support the academicians’ publication work in international scientific journals. BPP also together with UGM Press as an academic publisher in UGM. We lead publishing journals and books from (tidak jelas maksudnya dan tidak komplit).

Since 2014 Directorate of Research organized some Research Groups for implementation of the strategic research topics. These Research Groups was established based on a Rector's Decree, and have research topics that in line with UGM's strategic research topics. UGM strongly committed to encourages research collaboration. Various grants are offered to fund projects in a single field of study and interdisciplinary work. Collaborators may be drawn from a single institution or several institutions across Indonesia and global.

Research facilities

LPPT is a central laboratory of Universitas Gadjah Mada that provides and facilitates researchers for students, lecturers and researchers. LPPT is managed by the ISO 17025 quality management system. To improve the competency of the laboratory personnel, LPPT also provides professional training related to calibration, tool maintenance up to related to ISO 17025 covering management and technical training. With this standard, LPPT guarantees the test and calibration results are valid to increase the confidence of the customers. The testing competence includes for food, milk, environment and fuel analysis, and this will be extended to other fields such as mycotoxin, phytopharmaceuticals, and trace element testing.
