He added that this success serves as a motivation for all members of the academic community to continuously strengthen the role of communication within the institution to remain relevant in a changing era. The award, he said, aligns with UGM’s commitment to ensuring transparent, open, and responsive university governance.
“Through enhanced communication strategies and stronger synergy among work units, UGM is determined to maintain public trust while affirming its position as an informative university that adapts to advances in communication and technology,” he explained.
According to Dr. Tonralipu, UGM’s achievements at the 2025 Indonesian Public Relations Awards reaffirm that public relations serve not only as information providers but also as bridges that foster harmonious relationships between the university and society.
This success is expected to serve as a strong foundation for UGM to develop more adaptive and impact-driven public relations practices. With a spirit of collaboration and innovation, UGM remains committed to upholding public trust and strengthening its reputation as an institution of integrity with global competitiveness.
