Several representatives from Universitas Gadjah Mada's electric car team 'Arjuna' has recently made a visit to PT. Sky Energy Indonesia. The visit is conducted as a follow-up to the collaboration between UGM, represented by the team, with PT. Sky Energy Indonesia in the development of electric car technology.

Last October, the Arjuna team explored possibilities for the collaboration. As an early form of cooperation, PT. Sky Energy Indonesia supported them in the form of grants. Funds are provided for research and technology development of Battery Management System.

According to the team leader of Arjuna, Fajar Sidik Abdullah, the result of collaboration and research that has been carried out have produced satisfactory results. With the Battery Management System technology made by the team, they successfully obtained proud achievement in Indonesia Electric Car Competition 2015 which was held in Bandung State Polytechnic from November 13th to 15th.

"Arjuna UGM team came out as the Best Team in the competition. We also won two categories which are Acceleration and Deceleration category," said Fajar, Friday (18/12).

He added that in 2016 the electric car research conducted by the team will continue improving the Battery Management System technology and also in automobile mechanical systems, named Artificial Intelligence Transmission. They hope next year they can work with PT. Sky Energy Indonesia again in the development of electric cars on behalf of Indonesia because they will represent Indonesia at the Formula Student Electric in Australia, December 2016.

Fajar explained, forms of product development of electric car technology  are Battery Management Systems and Artificial Intelligence Transmission that will be patented by Arjuna team because the technology is new and has never been developed before in Indonesia

As we know, PT. Sky Energy Indonesia is a company engaging in the manufacturing industry or the manufacture of solar panels. The company also engages in the manufacture of Solar Power Plant (Solar Power) with the customer from various countries in the world. In Indonesia PT. Sky Energy Indonesia has reached a production capacity of more than 50MWP of PLTS that are made in some areas of Indonesia lacking of electricity. (adelily)
