She reinstated the SBMPTN 2016 will apply two test methods, Paper Based Testing (PBT) and Computer Based Testing (CBT). PBT is for all categories of sciences (socio-humanities, science-tech, and mixed) while CBT is only for socio-humanities and science-tech.
“For the CBT method, only some 30 of 78 state universities are appointed as administrators. For Local Committee 46, UGM and UNY are appointed as organisers,” she added.
Peni said the registration requirement and study programme choices were not much different from last years’. As many as three study programmes can be selected. If applicants choose only one study programme, they may choose any state university.
“For those that choose two or three study programmes, one of those has to be in the same region with the applicant’s venue for written tests,” she added.
