The results of the 2026/2027 Academic Year National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) were announced on Monday (June 25) at 3 PM Indonesia time. Following the announcement, SNBT participants who selected Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) are encouraged to begin preparing several documents required for the registration process, should they be declared successful in the selection.
UGM Vice Rector for Education and Teaching, Professor Wening Udasmoro, stated that prospective students admitted to Undergraduate and Applied Undergraduate Programs through the SNBT pathway must upload registration documents in accordance with the established provisions.
“We encourage prospective students to begin preparing the documents from now on so that the registration process can proceed more smoothly without obstacles related to upload deadlines,” said Professor Udasmoro on Monday (May. 25).
For prospective students selecting the Excellent Education Tuition Fee scheme (UKT Pendidikan Unggul/UKT-PU), the required documents include the original Family Card, a recent color photograph, and a health protection card such as the Indonesia Health Card or another health insurance card.
In addition, prospective students must provide consent to a statement of willingness to pay the Excellent Education Tuition Fee. Participants choosing the UKT-PU scheme will also be facilitated in undergoing a drug abuse screening test at the UGM Academic Hospital (RSA), Gadjah Mada Medical Center (GMC), or the Korpagama Clinic at a later scheduled time.
Meanwhile, prospective students who choose the UKT verification scheme are required to prepare several supporting documents, including a recent color photograph, the original Family Card, identity cards for both parents or guardians, a death certificate if one or both parents are deceased, and a divorce certificate if the parents are divorced.
In addition to family identity documents, prospective students are required to upload proof of primary income for both parents, guardians, or sponsors. For employees and retirees in the formal sector, income statements must be legalized by the payroll treasurer of the relevant institution.
“Meanwhile, for parents working in the informal sector, such as laborers, farmers, fishermen, traders, or self-employed workers, income statements may be issued by the local village head or subdistrict head,” explained Professor Wening.
UGM also requires the submission of Annual Tax Return documents for parents or guardians who are civil servants, members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), employees of state-owned enterprises, or private-sector employees. Other required documents include a certificate confirming freedom from drug abuse issued by a government-licensed hospital, clinic, or laboratory, accompanied by examination results for Benzodiazepines, Amphetamines, and THC Cannabis, as well as a health protection card.
In addition, participants applying for UKT verification must upload photographs of their homes that show their living conditions and accessibility. The uploaded photos must include the road in front of the house to show vehicle access, the front view of the entire house, including the house number, the full structure from the lower section to the roof, the living room showing the student and parents inside the house, bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and garage, if available.
Prospective students must also attach proof of the most recent electricity bill payment or electricity token purchase; bank account statements from the last three months for both parents, guardians, or sponsors; or an income statement from the local village or subdistrict head for families without bank accounts.
Specifically for applicants for the Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-Kuliah) Program, additional documents to be prepared include proof of KIP-Kuliah registration and a Statement of Willingness to Pay Tuition Fees if the KIP-Kuliah application does not meet the requirements.
Professor Wening added that participants who were not successfully admitted through the SNBT pathway still have the opportunity to apply to UGM through the third wave of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) admission pathway.
