Energy engineering leads to dramatic changes in energy consumption. It has never been so important to examine the stability of energy consumption. During recent years existing energy technologies have been shown to be inadequate due to fundamental changes in worldwide social needs and paradigm. Many basic assumptions are no longer certain and are definitely questioned. Nowadays, researchers and practitioners from industry and academia are developing advanced technology and innovation in energy engineering in order to solve these problems.
The ASTECHNOVA 2015 is to host communication and dissemination of proposed new approaches in dealing with technological development, as studying complexity and knowledge management. This event is the second international energy conference. In 2014 the conference was held successfully and attended by several participants and experts from Japan, India, U.K., Singapore, Germany, Malaysia, etc.
The ASTECHNOVA 2015 -International Energy Conference- will systematically examine these topics.
- Oil and Gas
- New and Renewable Energy
- Nuclear Engineering
- Green Technologies
- Energy Management and Services,
- Environmental Compliance,
- Energy Policy, Education and Training,
- Plant Engineering and Instrumentation & Control
- Other relevant topics on energy.
All selected papers that meet standards and presented in the ASTECHNOVA 2015 will be published in the ARPN Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences (ISSN 1819-6608, indexed by SCOPUS).
Rationale:
Engineering Physics Department Universitas Gadjah Mada (EPhyD) is currently in the process of being an internationally institution with centre of excellent in energy engineering. The most important aspects in the preparation for being centre of excellent in energy engineering is the internationally scientific atmosphere in EPhyD. EphyD should be joint to the international community in energy engineering with the prominent researchers and practitioners from industry and academia in energy engineering. Therefore, it is crucial to an international conference to bring together researchers and practitioners from industry and academia for sharing their energy technological development.
In the conference, many well recognized researchers, practitioners and academia will share their experience and vision of the future technological development in energy engineering. Among others, there will be the scientific member, i.e. Prof. Howard Hall (University of Tennessee, USA), Prof. William S. Charlton, Prof. Sunil Chirayath(Texas A&M University,USA), Dr. Liem Peng Hong (NAIS Co., Inc, Japan), Prof. Ikuji Takagi (Kyoto University, Japan), Prof. Ariel Liebman (Monash University, Australia), Prof. Sunarno, Dr. Sihana (Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia), Prof. (adj.) Parvez Alam (Abo Akademi University, Finland) and Prof. A. P. Sasmito (McGill University, Canada). EPhyD believes that conducting the ASTECHNOVA 2015 – International Energy Conference- is a strategic initiative to open more networks to the prominent energy engineering researchers and practitioners from industry and academia in the world whose opinions and suggestions will help EPhyD to excel as a centre of excellent in energy engineering.
Aims:
