Tri Yuwanta, Ph.D., welcome CIRAD France delegation, Dr. Gilles St Martin as CIRAD Director for Southeast Asian Island Countries and also Dr. Francois Rogers as CIRAD Head of Animal and Emerging Risk Diseases Unit at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on Thursday (19/12).
On that occasion, CIRAD held a presentation at the two UGM faculties and also had a discussion about the possibility of cooperation of GREASE Network as the educational institution partnership and research department in Southeast Asia which focuses itself on animal and integrated risk management concerning Avian Influenza, rabies and leptospirosis. Dr. Gilles mentioned that there has not been any partnership between research institutions and educational institutions in Southeast Asia in terms of animal disease treatment yet. The continuation of this meeting will be joint research within Faculty of Veterinary Science and cooperation with Faculty of Animal Science based on schemes other than GREASE Network.
