Dr. Andi Sandi Antonius Tabusassa Tonralipu, the Secretary of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), extended a warm welcome to representatives from Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Indonesia on Monday (Mar. 4) at the university.
During this productive meeting, UGM delegates from various faculties and directorates engaged in fruitful discussions with CCEP representatives regarding potential collaborations spanning multiple fields, particularly those aligned with the tri-dharma of higher education.
“UGM embraces inclusion, welcoming collaborations that offer mutual benefits across diverse domains. However, we seek equitable and enriching partnerships for all parties involved,” remarked Dr. Tonralipu.
Elaborating further, the secretary highlighted UGM’s commitment to bridging academia and industry, exemplified by initiatives such as the newly-built student hub GIK, designed to foster synergy between UGM’s academic community and industry practitioners.
This platform aims to enhance on-campus learning experiences while enabling industries to tap into UGM’s exceptional talent pool.
“The journey toward collaboration is a deliberate and inclusive process. We aspire for diverse industries to participate and are pleased to have already welcomed a dozen companies onboard. We look forward to potentially including CCEP among our valued partners,” he emphasized.
During their visit, the CCEP delegation, led by Lucia Karina, Director of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability, presented an overview of the CCEP partnership program, Teman Kampus (Campus Friends).
This comprehensive program encompasses four key aspects: sustainability, people, campus rejuvenation, and life in uni, reflecting CCEP’s commitment to holistic sustainability practices.
“Our partnership programs are multifaceted, underpinned by the core principle of sustainability,” shared Lucia Karina.
Echoing Dr. Tonralipu’s sentiments, Karlina emphasized that collaborations between the two institutions hold the potential for reciprocal benefits and may extend to broader societal impacts.
The envisioned programs, including mentorship and coaching initiatives for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and other community-centric endeavors, aim to drive positive change at both local and societal levels.
