The Master of Science in Accounting Program has 4 concentrations namely Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Public Sector Accounting, and Information Systems. The normal length of study is four (4) semesters with a maximum study period of three years (6 semesters). The degree obtained is M.Sc. (Master of Science in Accounting).

Graduate Competencies

The Master of Science in Accounting Program uses research-based learning methods and student-centered learning approaches. The curriculum is designed not only for students to be equipped with research expertise, but also to emphasize the concept of theory, basic and sophisticated knowledge to support current research arguments and discussions. Therefore, students will be equipped with knowledge and skills related to data analysis methodologies and tools. Various soft skills development packaged in the REACH (Researcher’s Enrichment) Program strengthens the ability of students to think critically, communicate well – verbally and in writing, be ethical and have high integrity. All lecturers are doctorates and most are professors.

This program provides many opportunities for students to take part in an exchange and dual degree education program abroad.

Career Prospects

Graduates of this study program have great opportunities for a career as professionals in various national and multinational companies, as academics and researchers in various state and private universities both nationally and internationally. In addition, there are great opportunities to become independent researchers (as consultants). Students who pass this program will have a great opportunity to be accepted and succeed well in the S3 (doctoral?) program.
